Upgrades & Accessories

Upgrades can be bought at Vladimir's upgrade Shop or at Bilkos auction house at your Homeworld, or they can be researched at the Orbital Complex, a structure that can be built at planets.
Upgrades are useful for increasing your ships performance in one way or the other. Whether you want to improve the shield capacity of your ship or equip it with a special weapon. Improving your fleet is key in winning battles.
Each upgrade needs a free slot (unless otherwise specified) and will improve your ship giving it something it didnt have before. Once a slot is upgraded it cannot be reverted. Use your free slots wisely, especially if you're planning on keeping it for a long time.

| Electronic warfare pod | ew | Electronic countermeasures that can turn off the equipment of an enemy ship and increase the index of attack and defense of their own ship. |
| Advanced Cloaking Device | hs | Allows a thus upgraded vessel to hide its detail information from another commander. |

| Advanced extractor | mp | Increases the extraction rate of a ship by 30. Limited to miners only. |

| Light missile launcher | ll | Available to all careers, can mount 2 missiles on the ship that it installed on. |
| Heavy Missile Launcher | lm | Only available for military careers and on several other pre-eqquiped ships, it allows up to 4 missiles to mounted on the ship that it installed on. |
| Planetary Maelstrom | Using available energy, this module destroys a percentage of a hostile planets fighters without putting your vessels withing harms way. | |
| Tachionic Communication Matrix (TCM) | Provide additional capability to the Parasite, reconnaissance. | |
| Swarm Mine | A mine that does 15 points damage each to a vessels armor, and can target certain types of vessels as set by the commander. | |
| Graviton Mine | A mine that does 10 points damage each to a vessels armor, and can target certain types of vessels as set by the commander. | |
| Missiles | An explosive projectile that have a wide range of purposes and brands. | |
| Parasite | Parasites attached them self to the host/victim and will disclose available information with additional option to damage it's host's armor or drain their shields by 25 points per hour. | |
| Ship collector | rn | Used to regroup single ships scattered by the effects of a Black Hole or X-Hole. |
| Black Hole Detector | bh | Sensor capable of detecting nearby Black Holes, by crossing the designated coordinates with red line. |
| Small Trailer | wl | Increases the cargo capacity of a ship by 3,000 units. |
| CMT Plasma Shield | ps | After all fighters, shields and armor of a ship are depleted, the plasma shield absords 100% of the next atack. |
| Scanner | sc | Sensor that negates the effects of the Cloaking Device |
| System Insider | cl | Upgrade that allows its commander to go in a system unoticed by patrolling ships and hostile fighters. |
| Transwarp | tw | Allows you to create a temporary path to any point within 15 lightyears ( 14 par sec). |
| Space tunnel stabilizer | ws | This upgrade module stabilizes the tunnel created when using a Subspace jump allowing you to tow along more ships. |
| Subspace Jump | sj | Allows you to jump to any point in the galaxy provided you visited it already, require certain amount of energy, varies to the distance of destination. |
| Defensive turrets | dt | Defensive turrets for ships. automatic bombardment signalled by incoming attack, good for counter attack of unexpected bombardment, usually guarding the ship while the commander is absent from the bridge |
